American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

The yeast donuts I had (glazed, white crème filled, and cinnamon twist) were amazingly soft, light and not greasy at all. Donut perfection! The kolaches were solid as well. Quick and friendly service and easy parking. Will be back for all my donut needs!

I stopped by on my way out of San Antonio. This will be my new donut & kolache spot!! The lady working in there was the absolute sweetest. The kolache & bear claw were delicious. I will be returning!!

This place is such an underrated gem. We come here whenever we’re up early and able to grab breakfast, and it’s consistently amazing. Everything tastes fresh and delicious every time. The kolaches are some of the best we’ve had, and the donuts and donut holes are seriously addictive. I was hesitant on our first visit because there weren’t many reviews or photos, but I’m so glad we took the chance. It absolutely exceeded expectations. More people need to know about this spot!

This sounds like such a fat thing to say (I am a big guy so I can say this), but I love, love, love doughnuts. My favorites are maple iced and apple fritters. I have had doughnuts from Duck Donuts, Parlor Doughnuts, Voodoo Doughnuts, Shipley Do-Nuts, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Dunkin' Donuts (which are the worst), Tim Hortons, etc. Now, while the places I mentioned aren't bad by any means (except Dunkin', lol), Donut Pro doughnuts are just no-frills and downright stupid-tasty. The dough is super fresh, light, and airy, and it doesn't taste overly processed. Plus, the icings have amazing flavor without being excessively sweet. I could definitely taste a quality difference compared to some of the other doughnuts that I have eaten in the past. They are definitely borderline addictive; I couldn't eat just one, lol. I am so happy that we discovered this little doughnut shop. Whenever I just want simple, downright delicious doughnuts, Donut Pro will be at the top of my list. Oh I almost left out the best part. The Apple Fritters here are amazing and actually have real chunks of apple. They are definitely chef kiss worthy.

So my wife is a Starbucks person. For a long time I had to wait in the car in the mornings while she got her froofroo drink made:) Recently I decided I’d check out the Pro Donut while she was in there, and I love it. It’s clean, the people that run it are super friendly and everything I’ve eaten there is spot on. I no longer have to dread the stop at the Starbucks. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
